Ngozi Ibe
Senior Project Manager
Ngozi manages the Multistate Trust Site in Navassa, NC and supports the Multistate Trust’s environmental justice program. With more than 20 years of experience, most recently at Jacobs Engineering, she has led remediation teams and worked with federal agencies and community stakeholders to advance cleanup and community-supported redevelopment projects. Ngozi earned a BS in geology from the University of Calabar and an MPH from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Claire Woods
Director, Community Partnerships and Redevelopment
Claire develops and implements policies to address the disproportionate environmental and economic burdens faced by people and communities harmed by legacy contamination at Greenfield Trust sites. She also handles legal affairs and advising for select Greenfield Trust sites. Previously, Claire served as a senior attorney at the Natural Resources Defense Council. Formerly, she was a trial attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice Environmental Enforcement Section. Claire earned her BA in history from Stanford University and her JD from Columbia Law School.
Theo von Wallmenich
Program Director
Theo oversees work at Multistate Trust federal Sites, including Navassa, Jacksonville, Columbus, and Soda Springs. He brings more than 25 years of management experience from Jacobs Engineering, where his accomplishments include directing a Remedial Action Contract program with over 60 active Superfund site projects for EPA Region 5 and managing contaminated soil removal from properties in the historically underserved community of East Chicago. Theo earned his BA in biology from Colby College and MS in geological sciences from the University of Oregon.
