Read MoreThe Multistate Trust expects to begin cleanup of contaminated surface soil in Operable Unit 2 (OU2) early summer at the Kerr-McGee Chemical Corp – Navassa Superfund Site (Site). The Multistate Trust, together with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ), will hold a virtual and in-person community meeting and an in-person information session on Thursday, March 23 to discuss the upcoming cleanup work.
